Mayo Technical Staffing Company started as a husband and wife team who have over 30 years experience together in two separate career fields. One is Field Service/Maintenance and the second is operating several staffing/HR consulting companies. We decided to form our own technical staffing firm.
One reason is that Joel realized how difficult it was to find qualified, seasoned and talented Electrical/Mechanical Technicians in the packaging industry. He would discuss the frustrations with his wife and Christine loved offering advice on the recruitment process. Both soon realized their respective talents could be utilized to help other employers and prospective employees match up for long lasting fruitful careers. They decided together to join forces and become “one” in career and in life.
Joel has worked in various industries, but his passion was with the beverage/packaging, craft beer industry. Joel Mayo started his career in 1983 in the trucking industry as a Diesel Mechanic and worked his way up to Technical Service Manager for an International packaging company in Atlanta. In his long career with them he was able to get extensive packaging machine, mechanic, electrical and engineering experience.
Christine Mayo started her career in 1988 as a Permanent Placement Specialist in the staffing industry and worked her way up to Senior Branch Manager/AVP with one of the largest International staffing companies in the world and has remained as a Human Resource Director/Consultant for over 30 years.
Together, they both have a passion to ensure each client and candidate needs are met for sustainable, long term employment relationships.
